The third grade staff would like to welcome you to a brand new year, full of fun and exciting adventures in learning.  Please check each individual teacher's website for specific information on their class.  We hope to keep you involved and up-to-date in all we do. 

PARENT/STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

In third grade, your responsibilities will include:

1. Keeping a homework assignment pad with all assignments written in it.

2. Completing the assigned book report.

3. Sharing all papers each evening. 

4. Keeping books covered all year.

5. Coming to school with all books, supplies and assignments, ready for the challenge of a new day.

6. Always having a silent reading book in your desk.

7. Returning Friday folders every Monday, initialed by parents.

HANDWRITING:

Cursive and Printing are both used during the First Marking Period. We are reviewing the proper formation of letters and words in cursive.

Cursive writing will be expected as of the beginning of the Second Marking Period.
